Temple visits in Vrindaban We visited the Katyayni Shakti Peeth Mandir, Sri Rangnath Ji Mandir and the Madan Mohan Temple, all in Vrindaban. We had Radheshyam as our guide who explained the significance of all these temples, including their historical background and importance to the cultural and religious landscape. We were treated with a group of women singing local folk songs and celebrating the occasion of Holi at the Shakti Peeth Mandir. the coloful ambiance and the smiles and joy on their faces were memorable. Wonderful experience with our guide in Vrindaban.

Amazing Tour of The Golden Triangle My husband and I had a amazing tour of India’s golden triangle thanks to Karan Jaswal and The Grand Indian Route tour company. The trip was well planned and everything went smoothly from start to finish. We were met at the airport by our exceptional driver Lallu who was with us for the entire tour. He chauffeured us around in a very comfortable, spacious vehicle which we were thankful for (my husband is 6’4”). The hotels were lovely, a wonderful refuge at the end of each busy day. Our guides were very knowledgeable about the history of India and the sites we were visiting. It was truly a memorable trip and we have some wonderful photos to look back on.

Photo Journey in Tribal Rajasthan I recently completed a 2 week tour with The Grand Indian Route and was thrilled with the experience. As a photo artist I found the photographic opportunities to be limitless, especially in regards to local tribes. The people were incredibly friendly and very receptive to photography which made the process very enjoyable. The tribal colours are intense and intoxicating. A kaleidoscope of hues, chroma and contrast; something between De Kooning and Rothko. And The Grand Indian Route took excellent care of all the logistics: great local Havelis, excellent meals and a fabulous car and driver. As a bonus I found the cost to be very reasonable with no extra fees or surprises. It was an excellent trip and has my highest recommendation.

An amazing experience in Rajhastan We have just returned from an affordable luxury tailor made trip to rural Rajhastan. It was a very enriching experience, and we had the most amazing time. The Great Indian Route planned the trip to the last detail, every step was smooth and well-coordinated from start to finish. Karan Jaswal, co-founder of the agency, constantly kept in touch with us during the trip to make sure that everything was right, moreover, he went beyond the planned itinerary to include extra experiences to match our interests. The guides were excellent, extremely knowledgeable of the sites, history and everyday life. And our driver, Pankaj, was the best ever. We stayed in spectacular heritage accommodations. We experienced everything possible, from temples, palaces and forts to bird sanctuaries, safaris and an amazing experience overnight in the desert, with camel ride included. But what we loved mostly, were the people, the tribes with their incredible colorful clothes and their warm welcomes. The Great Indian Route’s detailed planning made this a truly memorable journey. My first tour with them: but certainly not my last!

Mesmerized by Rajasthan (Udaipur,Jodhpur, Jaisalmer) As our prior trip to India was so professionally and nicely organized(it was South India) by this Company, we decied to give our North India travel plan into hands of Grand Indian route(GIR) again. And they fullfilled our high expectations. -1st thing to stress out- attention to the details- from the very start to the very end- you feel that trip is organised taking into account all your personal requests, none was forgotten. Small things (like traditional gifts upon arrival, thoughtfully selected places to stay, unique and such a nice places to eat, etc) gives so much additional ‘points’. -keeping as on the track- once we reached new place- our organizator Karan sends us message where we arrived, what are we going to do, what we should be prepared for. This felt nicely- like we are always cared of. -professional guides- we have visited Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhhpur - and in these locations we were having different guides who were showing us around. We appreciate how warm, professional and ready to fullfill all our wishes they were. We appreciate we were heard of that we like some local, non touristical experiences and we got to experience being guests at some locals! Guides are local and to addition to programme they organised in advance ,they also know best spots for dinner with nice view ,place where saree would be stich within a day, etc:) -authentic, yet qualitative places to stay- this I noticed during our prior visit in India that GIR are so good at selecting places that has some nice and unique Indian authenticity and at the same time meets European quality. This really contributed a lot to the trip so we enjoyed it! We were enjoying living in palaces, in suuuper nice place Indian village, we also were so much enjoing luxury desert camp. If we would be repeating - we would choose the same places to stay. I have no doubt we will use this Company for all our upcomings trips to India (I hope we will have a lot in the future as there are so many to cover!). Thank you for showing India from the side that you just keep admiring it!

An amazing trip to India I highly recommend trips with Karan. Full professionalism in preparing the trip, great organization, carefully refined plan, perfectly selected hotels exceeded the expectations, met the needs. A trip to India is like landing on another planet. Everything is different there, so if you are going to the land of a thousand gods, you must have a good guide who knows the mentality and customs of the Hindus. Thank you for a fantastically organized program and for the super efficient organization of the trip.

Rajastan Memories Faced with the logistical complexity of putting together a viable 2 week tour of Rajastan, we reached out to TGIR. Not only did they knit together a tour that (with relatively little direction) ticked all of our boxes in terms of quality, downtime and travelling options, but they also made a couple of helpful amendments to our original plans. The guides were all knowledgeable, interesting and helpful and our driver transported us around brilliantly. Karan pulled all this together with only a few weeks' notice. All-in-all, an excellent trip that created life-long memories.

Professional & caring services, unique & magic experience! 3 of us (me, my husband and my colleague) were in Chennai for business trip and we asked THE Grand Indian Route (the GIR) to organise weekend (3 days trip) to Kerala region. We were surprised of quality and professionality level of all organization: -our expectations and preferences were carefully listened and fulfilled. -selected HOTELS &Boathouse (we stayed at 3 different places that weekend) were really nice and luxury (stylish, clean, authentic with ‘wow’ effect) -trip planned was carefully planned and perfect in terms of intensity and types of activities. -the DRIVER who was with us all 3 days - was very professional - his English was good &easily understandable, he had many interesting things, stories to share with us, he knew answers to all our questions, he had good ‘sense’ which places could be interesting for us to stop on the way to planned activities, he was friendly and professional. CONSTANT CARE and COMMUNICATION- All the time during the trip and before the trip communication was proper and of high level- we were provided by all needed details. All the time we felt like travel Company honestly cares about us and just want us to enjoy India in general (not just Kerala part, but Chennai part and India in general). Few examples: a) We flew in Kerala from Chennai for weekend trip late at night so we were going from airport directly to the hotel and the trip itself should start next morning. So the driver could just take us to the hotel from the airport, but we were met at airport by the driver and a guide who took us to hotel and made check in for us, explained all the plan for the next days trip, was very attentive and veeery caring; b) I told to the guide in Kerala that I dream about Saree to wear next week for my business dinner, so he organised sticher 2 hours before our flight to Chennai!!(you can see the picture of this. Blouse by the way was perfectly stiched!) c) Our guide organized us a ride in a public transport just right after we asked for unique local experience (and that was veeery much fun and definitely unique) d) My husband and colleague were already hungry I was dreaming about shopping in some local shop few hours before flight back to Chennai, I told this my dream to guide, so he organised guys nice restaurant and for me super nice local shop for shopping :) These are just few examples, but whole trip was really magic! I honestly think , that the fact that we had contact of the Grand Indian Route Travel agency during all visit in India made us feel safer, cared and like we can ask any advice (from where to shop or which taxi Company to take to what gifts to take to local colleagues) not only from the trip's part which they were hired for ( we hired them only for 3 days, but whole business trip was 2 weeks). I am 100% sure that next time we will come to India- we again will use service of this travel agency !

Great experience on Rajasthan Tour It has been a great success to hire our tour of Rajasthan with The Grand Indian Router. From the first contact, the negotiation and definition of the trip have been clear and concise, and the quality of the service exceeded our expectations. The vehicle was always clean and in good condition, and the driver very professional. We would certainly repeat. Thanks to our driver Divakar and our trip manager Karan.
